Ce doit être dans le dossier "plugins" du dossier firefox-installer qu'il faut mettre ce plugin.... sinon il ne peut le trouver...

J'ai vu sur différents sites que allocine ne respectait pas les normes web. Conclusion je pense que j'ai bien installé Realplayer. Par contre comme je veux toujours voir les bandes annonces des films, je suis allé sur les sites officiels. Et là il me propose de lire des fichiers avec quicktime que mon ordi ne connais pas. J'ai essayé d'installer VLC ou Mplayer mais je n'y arrive pas alors que je respecte les consignes (fais chier) notamment les urpmi.

Voici mes pbs pour chacun des logiciels (rappel je suis sous linux mandrake 10).

Pour VLC mes sites de référence sont (

Pour mplayerplug-in il te manque des packages de développement genre:
libglib2.0_0-devel.
Ceci dit si tu n'as pas installé mplayer, mplayerplug-in ne te servira à rien.

je suis novice dans l'installation de logiciels. Il faut absolument installer le logiciel et après le plug-in????];-)];-)^o^^o^^o^

Je vais installer Mplay et non uniquement le plug-in mais pourquoi je n'arrive pas à installer VLC?
Lequel est le mieux?

Pour mplayer installe la version pl ainsi que mplayer-gui.
Chez moi j'ai installé:
mplayer-1.0-0.pre7.4.1.102plf
mplayer-gui-1.0-0.pre7.4.1.102plf
Pour vlc utilise aussi les rpm.
Chez moi sont installés:
vlc-0.8.2-0.test1.0.1.102plf
vlc-plugin-mad-0.8.2-0.test1.0.1.102plf
vlc-plugin-a52-0.8.2-0.test1.0.1.102plf
Pour satisfaire les dépendances tu dois installer:
liba52 et libwxgtk2.5_3
Mais en principe si tu utilises les outils mandrake les dépendances sont installées automatiquement (du moins si elles sont trouvables).

libpolyp-0.7.so.0 est fourni par libpolypaudio0.7
Tu as dit que tu as mandrake 10. Mais lequel ?
Je me demande si tu n'essayes pas d'installer un rpm mplayer qui n'est pas pour ta version de mandrake, car normalement urpmi trouve les dépendances et les installes.
Te sources urpmi sont bien configurées.

Les fichiers .so, c'est en gros l'équivalent des dll sous windoze. ça veut dire "Shared Object", c'est des librairies.
Pour VLC, il te manque les librairies de wxGTK, qui sont des librairies fournissant des contrôles indépendants des plateformes (boutons, etc.) (cherche un peu avec google, tu dois pouvoir les trouver.).
