pb d'affichage sous mandriva 2006 !!!

Bonjour,
Je viens d'installer la distrib linux mandriva 2006, mais je n'est pas d'affichage je suis en ligne de commande... j'ai une ati 9800 pro... Si qqun a une solution merci

Bonjour.

Essayes la commende: startx
ainsi tu vas lancer X, le moteur graphique.

En cas de problèmes, notes les messages d'erreur et envois les nous, comme ça nous pourrons t'aider winking smiley.

Autre solution, réinstalles mandriva en faisant gaf à la carte graphique que tu choisi.

Que te mets t-il comme message d'erreur ?? Ils ont dans le fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log ?? Ta carte marche en agp ou pciExpress ??

Le plus simple logue toi en root et tapes "XFdrake" (je dit ça de mémoire, ça a peut être changé de nom), et choisit comme pilote dans la partie xorg : "vesa". Puis aprés soit tu te logues en utilisateur normal puis tu tapes startx, soit tu redémarres la machine.

Cela va te permettre d'avoir un environement graphique qui marche, pas avec de grosses performances mais quand on débute on est un peu moins perdu et on a les outils graphiques sous la main.

salut



il est pas necessaire de reinstaller ta mandriva pour demarrer ton serveur X

et ( non le moteur X ) .....

il te suffit dans un premier temps de relancer le serveur X en tapant la commande preconiser par notre ami chtimi

sinon de rebooter ta machine avec le cd ou dvd au prompt tu choisie mettre à jour mandriva
tu laisse faire jusqua la section dite resumé ( sur ta droite pendant l installation) puis onglet interface graphique ... et regarde ce que tu peux faire <<<<< OK

important : souhaiter vous que l interface graphique soit automatiquement lancée lors du demarrage .... tu reponds par oui ... tu peux faire des teste avant de valider .....

Salut,

tout d'abord merci de m'aider... donc ma carte est une ati 9800 pro no name branché en AGP et mon écran est un LCD 19" Samsung syncMaster 913N en VGA.
Donc j'ai essayé vos méthodes:
startx ===> Fatal error : no screen device

XFdrake ===> pilote vesa ===> startx ===> Fatal error : no screen device
====> pour mon ecran il me l'a detecté sous XFdrake et j'ai mis ecran générique et ça marche pas

Peut etre faut il installé le driver du site ATI, il s'appelle comme ça : ati-driver-installer-8.22.5-x86_64.run ??? si oui comment faut il l'installé ??? J'avoue je suis newbie en linux...

Le probléme doit venir des fréquences de rafraichissement de ton écran, celle indiqué dans le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf ne doivent pas être bonnes. Pourrait tu poster le contenu de ce fichier ??

Est ce que ces fréquences, correspondent à celles présentes dans la doc de ton écran : 

HorizSync 31.5-64.3
VertRefresh 50-70

Sinon tu peux remplacer dans la section screen, dans chaque subsection : 

 Virtual 800 600

Par ça : 

Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

Pour utiliser le driver vesa, si tu veux essayer, remplace dans la section device : 

 Driver "ati"

Par : 

Driver "vesa"

Il y a une truc aussi, quand je fais XFdrake et que je regarde tous les ecrans disponibles par vendeur il y a tous les écrans samsung sauf le mien (SyncMaster 913N)... ça me semble bizarre !!!

Il est là le probléme, moi j'avais eut un soucis de ce genre, quand j'avais une radeon, c'étais parce que le module gérant l'agp de ma carte-mère n'étais pas chargé.

C'est un asus avec un chipset VIA K8T800 Pro et un AMD 3700+ Socket 939. De plus, j'ai installé cette version de mandriva Mandriva-Linux-Free-2006-DVD.i586.iso pour information

Ben il faut que tu charge le module agp, de mémoire c'est via-agp ou via_agp un des deux je ne sais plus exactement.

Donc tu fais un : "modprobe via-agp" puis tu essaie de démarrer ton serveur X avec startx par exemple.

Désolé de pas avoir répondu plus tot !!! Mais chez moi le site buggé et apres je suis parti en WE...

Bref, la commande lspci m'as tres bcp aidé puisque j'ai pu changé de port pci dans mon fichier conf (xorg.conf) et maintenant ça marche !!!

Merci bcp pour ton aide et on se reverra surement !! Iam a linux newbie ;-)
