Bonjours, voila j'ai ma redhat 9 en console only pour le moment et j'aimerai y implater un mode graphique afin de faciliter certain parametrage.

1\ quel inteface installer sachant qu'elle doit meprendre le moins de ressource possible.
Je ne dispose que d'un 400Mhz.

2\ Quel package installer en consequence et dans quel ordre.

3\ J'ai installer apt-get sur ma redhat si ca peut aider.

Je prend toute les aides possibles, tutoriaux, site specialiser etc.

Et il m'as tout installer.

Bref je tourne en rond sur ce point la :'(

le mieux, serait peut etre d'installer l'ensemble des packages XFree86,et ensuite de faire une mise à jour (# rpm -U XFree86*)
puis de verifier ton materiel avant la configuration /usr/X11R6/bin/SuperProbe

J'ai fait comme tu m'as conseiller, j'ai instalelr Xfree86 directement
seulement ce gland me demandait des dependance alros que j'utilisa rpm -ivh XFree86-4.........

Je seche a mort sur ce truc et bien sur redhat n'as pas d'option au boot pour reprendre une install comem mandrake pour lui dire d'installer un mode graphique
