lenteur apres install pilote nvidia

rebonjour a tous
voila le probleme:
je viens tout juste d installer les pilotes nvidia,pour ma geforce 5950,et le systeme est d une lenteur aberrante,tout rame,depuis le splash screen jusqu a kwrite

j ai regarde ds les process en cours,et le serveur X m a l air de bouffer pas mal de memoire (250000)
...que puis je faire,voici un print de mon XF86config

pour la version de Xfree,heuu celle de base avec mdk...
le truc,c est que c est pas seulement lent ds les jeux mais tout le systeme rame lamentablement....
avec glxgears,j atteind a peine 2000 fps...
ya kekchose qui cloche,mais koi?

c'est deja bien quand j'avais un bleme j'atteigner 200 avec glxgears ;-)

Mais bon je pense que cela doit etre un probleme avec le DRI ou l'AGP, l'acceleration materielle ne doit pas etre active. par contre moi j'ai une ATI donc question aide ca va etre limite c'est pour ca que je fais appel au pocesseur de nvidia .

Toutefois regarde dans le fichier /var/log/XFree86.0.log , si tu a des lignes commencant par (EE), joint les a ton prochain post ca pourra aider!!!!!!!!

Pour ma part j' ai une savage 3 intégrée au chipset sans accélération 3D.
Donc je ne serais pas d' un grand secours sinon vous orienter dans vos recherches.

Merci Axel,j ai jeté un coup d oeil a ton lien,mais je crois que le probleme n est pas la,l install s etant passée sans accrocs.
Le probleme est que j ai tenté de reinstaller ces pilotes-apres avoir desinstallé les librairies Mesa,sauf une qui ne peut l etre,a cause des dependances (une bonne centaine)et j ai pas envie de foutre le systeme en l air-mais rien n y fait
pitié,je veux pas tout reinstaller smiling smiley

ayant besoin de la 3d pour bosser (je prepare une formation d infographiste 3d),donc de blender,je dois absolument regler ce probleme le plus rapidement possible smiling smiley

Sinon réinstalle tout (aprés avoir sauvegardé tes fichiers de travail), ce sera le seul moyen d' avoir une install propre.

C'est préconisé dans l'appendice C du readme des drivers nvidia:

Problems will arise if applications use the wrong version of a library.

symlinks left lying around. If you think there may be something awry
in your installation, check that the following files are in place
(these are all the files of the NVIDIA Accelerated Linux Driver Set,

not look at -- we have found that prepending "XXX" to a library name
generally does the trick), rerun 'ldconfig', and check that the correct
symlinks were made. Some libraries that often create conflicts are
"/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so*" and "/usr/X11R6/lib/libGLcore.so*".

If the libraries checks out, then verify that the application is using
the correct libraries. For example, to check that the application

Note the files being used for libGL and libGLcore -- if they are something

exemple: locate nvidia_drv.o , locate libglx.so (<= pour celle là vérifie que le lien symbolique est correct, càd ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so doit mener vers /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so.x.y.z)

vérifies les répertoires listés dans /etc/ld.so.conf pour voir si ldconfig ne va pas chercher d'autres librairies.

man ldconfig et ldd

c'est Xfree86.0.log qu'il faut utiliser!

apparemmet il initialise bient tout dans le log de XFree donc le probleme ne doit pas venir de XFree, mais des librairies comme le dit greywolf. Par contre la moi je suis chez ATI donc je ne peu pas t'aider beaucoup plus .

Ce serait cool que d'autres pocesseurs de nvidia viennent pour t'aider !!

g regardé ds le log,et cette fois il m affiche ca
