[noyau 2.6.13] problème son + lecteur de cartes

Bonjour,

Pour mon retour à un Linux dont je comprends les agissements, et qui ne cache pas toute la config, je viens d'installer une slack 10.2, dont j'ai remplacé le noyau 2.4 par le 2.6.13 selon le tuto de [franck.barbenoire.free.fr] .

Premier problème : mon lecteur de cartes multi-formats, qui me sert à lire les CF de mon APN, semble reconnu, mais l'insertion de la carte ne paraît pas être détectée. L'insertion de ma carte usb, elle, se traduit par des messages normaux et habituels :

Je ne vous cache pas que j'ai plus l'habitude du dmesg de FreeBSD, et que celui de Linux (la dernière fois que j'ai vraiment mis les mains dans le cambouis, c'était avec les noyaux 2.2...) me semble quelque peu opaque.

Autre problème : le son. J'ai bien "unmuté" dans alsamixer, aumix -q me le confirme. Mais le dmesg semble me dire qu'il y a un problème de codecs, alors que la version 1.0.9b des modules alsa est bien celle qui va avec le noyau 2.6.13.

Il faudrait recompiler le noyau avec l'option SCSI "Probe all LUN's on each SCSI drive"...
Par contre, si j'ai bien suivi, il ne me faut récupérer que les sources du kernel , pas les headers.
Puis recompiler le noyau en suivant ce genre de tuto :

Enfin, dans le message

l'auteur dit qu'il n'a "eu qu'à recompiler le bzImage"...
Comment s'y prend-t-on ?
