Je tente en vain d'installer le wifi sous Debian Etch depuis quelques jours déjà. J'ai tenté plusieurs solutions : sans succès. Je vais vous montrer ou j'en suis aujourd'hui.

Ma configuration est :
– Carte Wifi Realtek intégré à ma carte mère : RLT8187.
– Carte mère : P5k-E/Wifi Ap-solo
– Livebox avec clé WPA-PSK.

J'ai donc téléchargé le dernier driver pour windows XP et je l'ai installé à l'aide de Ndiswrapper.

Voici pour information :
debian:/home/david# ndiswrapper -l
netrtuw : driver installed

Le driver est donc bien installé !

Je tape : iwconfig :

J'étais dans une situation identique, avec comme anomalie un message d'erreur à la commande modprobe ndiswrapper.

En installant ndiswrapper avec module-assistant, tout s'est arrangé -> plus d'erreur à modprobe ndiswrapper et à iwconfig, et l'accès au wifi. Peut-être est-ce une piste.

J'avais absolument besoin du wifi pour avoir internet sur ma machine car c'était pour faire un serveur de test. Comme rien ne fonctionnait : j'ai abandonnée. Je suis comme par hasard hier tombé sur un super programme appelé : Virtualbox ! C'est un programme libre qui permet d'émuler un système d'exploitation. Et là, j'ai directement Internet dessus.

Je vais toutefois tenter ta solution bientôt bien que cela m'étonnerai que ce soit le problème ! Car j'avais réussi enfin à installer ndiswrapper, la dernière version. De plus, j'avais aucune erreur. A croire que le problème venait plus tôt de ma Livebox.
